What is the Seed Festival?
The Seed Festival is an environmental, agro-ecological, cultural and community meeting that seeks to highlight the importance of native seeds as the basis of life, biodiversity, food sovereignty and the sustainable future of the territories. This space brings together rural producers, peasant communities, indigenous reserves, educational institutions, environmental organisations, national and international experts and citizens in general, with the aim of promoting the exchange of knowledge, seed conservation, environmental education and the strengthening of agroecological practices. Through academic activities, talks, presentations, seed exchange, cultural expressions and ancestral ceremonies, the festival seeks to raise awareness about the need to protect the natural heritage and recover the connection between communities, land and nature. The Seed Festival was born as an initiative of the Asoprovida Foundation to consolidate a permanent process of environmental participation, biological conservation and collective construction of a model of development that is more sustainable, resilient and in harmony with life.

During two transformative days, we will consolidate real strategies to protect our natural heritage through:
- Agro-ecological and peasant fair: More than 100 stands with local products, organic fertilisers and bio-inputs.
- Academic and training days: High-level panels with environmentalists, agronomists and indigenous leaders.
- Exchange of native and creole seeds: A vital practice to rescue and protect our ancestral memory.
- Community environmental actions: Planting trees, beautification of water sources, waste collection, feeding animals and homeless people, and the creation of a representative mural.

SPECIAL GUESTS
Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
