Asoprovida at COP30: the teacher as an eco-social being for future generations

In the framework of the Conference of the Parties (COP30)the Association for the Protection of Life - Asoprovida will participate with a paper entitled "The teacher as an eco-social being for future generations".a training proposal that invites us to rethink the role of the teacher as a agent of environmental, social and human change.

This paper, which is part of the Asoprovida's portfolio of educational servicesThe project focuses on accompanying teachers in educational institutions so that they recognise the importance of their work not only in the classroom, but also in the community. integral and environmental education of its students.

The workshop aims to give educators an understanding of their role as sustainable development guidelinespromoting values of respect for nature, ecological awareness and community action. It is proposed that every teacher is a sower of environmental awarenessThe project is a project capable of inspiring new generations to care for and positively transform the environment in which they live.

The paper will be presented at the Auditório Vila Velhalocated in the Casa Sustentabilidade Brasil of Clube Cassazumthe 12 November 2025 at 16:00 (Brazil time). The event will be attended by representatives from different countries, who will share educational and environmental experiences in the context of the global climate crisis.

With this intervention, Asoprovida reaffirms its commitment with the environmental education as a fundamental axis for the construction of fairer, more conscious and sustainable societies.
